Nomination of the new director of the Neurocenter

The Geneva University Neurocenter is pleased to start this new year 2022 with a new director, Professor Daniel Huber. Daniel Huber replaces Denis Jabaudon who has been the director for the past four years. Thanks to Denis Jabaudon for his involvement in our current teaching, outreach and coordination activities.

We hope to continue sharing with you all lemanic neuroscientific information and contributing to a high-level teaching and quality and innovative outreach!

Daniel Huber is head of the Huber Lab, which aims to use a series of innovative optical imaging methods, such as in vivo two-photon microscopy with fluorescent activity indicators, to record neuronal activity in the motor cortex with single cell resolution and thereby gain a better understanding of the exact neuronal network dynamics underlying decision making and motor control.
