Sophia Achab (Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine) was unanimously elected Vice-President of the executive committee of the International Society of Addiction Medicine ISAM-NEXT (New professionals, EXploration, Training & education).

The mission of the ISAM committee is to increase educational and training capacities in the field of addiction medicine. ISAM is the leading society in this field of study.
