Professor Habib Zaidi, Associate Physicist in charge of the Instrumentation and Neuroimaging Laboratory, and Full Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva, has been awarded the John Mallard Award during the International Conference on Medical Physics (ICMP 2023) https://icmp2023.org/, held from December 6 to 9, 2024, in Mumbai, India. The award, presented by the International Organization of Medical Physics (IOMP) https://www.iomp.org/, recognizes his exceptional contribution, high-quality scientific innovation, and profound influence in the Medical Physics community. This prestigious award, given every three years by the IOMP, highlights Professor Zaidi’s innovative work in the development of multimodal medical imaging techniques using artificial intelligence.

Professor Zaidi is a Fellow of IEEE, AIMBE, AAPM, IOMP, AAIA, and the BIR. He is also a professor at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, the University of Southern Denmark, and Óbuda University in Hungary
