Activités de recherche

Our research projects focus on various themes of neuroimaging including the development of quantitative imaging methods in PET/SPECT for the study of different cerebral neurotransmission systems and neuroinflammation using various PET/SPECT TSPO tracers. We are interested in preclinical PET/SPECT applications and the mechanism of action of atypical antipsychotics. We also study of neuroinflammation in relation to amyloid deposits and behavioral and cognitive alterations in transgenic models of Alzheimer’s disease. In vitro studies on the post-mortem human brain are also performed in ou lab for the identification and characterization of inflammation with respect to neurodegenerative pathologies. We are also interested in the clinical application of the neuroinflammatory process in various psychiatric pathologies
