Activités de recherche
The research group focuses on the study of stress reactivity and the development of emotional regulation during adolescence, a period of particular vulnerability with respect to mental health. Brain maturation during adolescence/young adulthood is particularly important for the affective control processes necessary for emotion regulation. With this in mind, we are evaluating the effectiveness and mechanisms of different early interventions, such as emotional skills training and mindfulness meditation, using functional MRI and biological markers. In parallel, we continue to explore, at the neurobiological level, this dimension of emotional regulation in relation to stress reactivity in populations suffering particularly from emotional dysregulation (ADHD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorders).
